CollectifyMe

Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 November 2026

These terms are an agreement between you (the centre owner or business using CollectifyMe) and CollectifyMe. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. The service

CollectifyMe is an online tool for tracking fees, bills, payments, receipts and attendance, and for preparing WhatsApp reminders and UPI payment links. Features may change and improve over time.

2. Your account

  • You must give correct details and be at least 18 years old.
  • Keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Tell us quickly at support@collectifyme.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.

3. Free trial and plans

  • New accounts get a free trial with all features. Its length is shown on our pricing page when you sign up.
  • After the trial, a free plan with limits may be available, or you can upgrade to a paid plan. Current prices and limits are on the pricing page.
  • Paid plans are charged in advance for the period you choose. Unless required by law, payments are not refundable for a period already started.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply from your next renewal.
  • If a paid plan is not renewed, your account may move to the free plan or be paused. Your data is not deleted just because a payment is late.

4. Fee payments from parents

Parents pay your centre directly through UPI using your UPI ID. CollectifyMe is not a bank or payment aggregator and does not receive, hold or transfer that money. You are responsible for checking that payments have reached your account before marking bills as paid, and for any refunds or disputes with parents or members.

5. Your data and your responsibilities

  • You own the data you enter about your students and members. We use it only to provide the service to you.
  • You confirm you have a lawful reason to store this data and, for students under 18, the consent of a parent or guardian, as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. See our Privacy Policy.
  • Keep student and parent details accurate, and share payment and receipt links only with the right person.
  • You can export your data from the Reports page at any time.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • send spam or unwanted bulk messages, or messages to people who have not agreed to hear from you;
  • use the service for anything illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or to store data you have no right to;
  • try to access other centres' data, break our security, or overload the service; or
  • resell or copy the service without our written permission.

WhatsApp and UPI apps have their own terms, which you must also follow when using them.

7. Availability

We work to keep CollectifyMe available and secure, but the service is provided "as is". There may be occasional downtime for maintenance or reasons outside our control. Please keep your own copy of important records using the export feature.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, CollectifyMe is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or missed fee collections). Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

9. Suspension and closing your account

  • You can stop using CollectifyMe at any time and ask us to delete your account and data.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used for abuse, or has unpaid charges, after giving notice where reasonable.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in an important way, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Kerala, India. Please contact us first – most problems can be solved quickly.
